Current Vacancy For Immediate Hire
Multiple Health Paraeducator/CNA positions for 6.0 - 7.0 hours per day / 10 months
Application Process
Applicants who successfully meet the employment standards outlined in the Required Qualifications in the job description and the supplemental questionnaire questions in the application will be invited to participate in the testing process.
Tentative Testing Schedule For This Recruitment
Written Testing Date: Testing will be held from June 11, 2025, through August 27, 2025. Testing will be 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, exclusively on Wednesdays (walk-in basis, no appointment necessary). Only qualified applicants will receive an email invitation to participate in the testing process.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS
Education And Experience
In order to be considered for this position, applicants must provide detailed information on their application to demonstrate how they meet the employment standards (Minimum Qualifications for Education and Experience and Licenses and other Requirements) shown below:
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from secondary school or equivalent GED, Valid Certified Nurse Assistant Certificate/License, and at least one (1) year experience working with children within an organized setting.
Incumbents must meet requirements specified under Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).
Special Qualifications upon hire for positions at a school site that is supported by Title I funds include:
Completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher education OR
Obtained an associate’s or higher degree (college level) OR
Met (pass) a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate, through a formal State or local academic assessment.
Licenses And Other Requirements
Valid California Certified Nurse Assistant Certificate/License
Valid First Aid and CPR certificates issued by an authorized agency.
Some incumbents in this class may be trained in and utilize C.P.I. techniques (crisis prevention) as assigned by the position.
