Position Summary:
- This position reports to the Sr. Director of Operations, but works closely with Lompoc Health Clinic Directors.
- Works closely and productively with all Lompoc Health medical assistants and providers.

Position Duties/Responsibility:
- Coordination of all education/training efforts for all medical assistants and providers for clinic quality improvement programs.
- Assist in the development of short- and long-term plans and objectives for programs, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance.
- Assists with the development of workflows to incorporate program improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of project application materials and documentation for submission to relevant agencies.
- Assist in design of performance objectives, implement and monitor progress to meet desired outcomes.
- Ensure that all team members understand the scope of the project as well as individual and departmental responsibilities.
- Assist in the development of innovative ideas on how to improve performance amongst quality metrics.
- Develop periodic outreach plan according to program needs.
- Compile and submit project progress reports to relevant agencies.
- Utilization of Population Health Management Software for reporting.
- Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certification with one of the following agencies is highly preferred: American Association of Medical Assistants (AMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), California Certifying Board of Medical Assistants (CMAA) with Injection Training.
- Current CPR certification required from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Skills/Ability: Be able to communicate effectively with patients to the degree the patient’s ability allows. Be able to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate patient’s condition to other staff.
