Train Presentation Operative

At Arriva TrainCare we have opportunities to join us on a fixed term contract until May, working on average 30 hours per week, from 14:00 to 22:00 Monday - Thursday  

You will receive £11.44 per hour, along with fantastic additional benefits including:

What will I be doing as a Train Presentation Operative?

Working as a Train Presentation Operative, you will make sure that trains delivered for service are clean, safe and meet our clients expectations. Duties will include:

• Completing train presentation duties such as cleaning interior doors, windows and tables, vacuuming and litter removal

• Responsible for ensuring that trains delivered for service are clean, delivering internal and External deep cleans safely and meet to the clients’ expectations. Deliver the highest possible performance as a team member.

• Preparation of cleaning kits and equipment at the start and end of each shift

• Ensuring all paperwork is carried out correctly and fully completed

What will I need to become a Train Presentation Operative?

• Previous experience working as a cleaner, ideally within a commercial/ industrial environment

• Awareness and understanding of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health)

• Ability to work effectively both as part of a small team and independently

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Ability to pass an industry standard medical
