The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in our finance team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and leading month-end close processes. Salary: $80,000 - $95,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare financial statements and management reports, analyzing results and highlighting variances.
- Conduct complex reconciliations and manage journal entries.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting procedures and improve internal controls.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance.
- Participate in audits by providing information, documentation, and assistance to auditors.
- Mentor and train junior accounting staff, promoting professional growth within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
