What are the responsibilities and job description for the Videographer / Content Creator position at LONE STAR NATIONAL BANK?
SUMMARY
The Videographer is responsible for the handling of a variety of project types in different recording environments according to the Bank’s needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The duties listed below may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform. Incumbent may be required to perform other related duties as assigned.
- Responsible for the planning, filming and editing of podcasts, videos and posts that can be used for a variety of projects and content initiatives
- Plan and develop social media strategies including scheduling shoots and providing guidance and support as needed
- Solve technical problems and give creative input
- Manage production room and ensure that equipment is present and working
- Drive video projects through from pre-production to the postproduction process
- Selection and implementing special visual effects, music, high quality graphics, and special audio for each video shoot
- Creates quality multimedia story telling using photography, videography, graphics and text that accurately informs, entertains and engages our audience.
- Engage with followers, audience and customers on social media with approval from Marketing Director or Assistant Marketing Director in a timely manner and using customer care
- Create monthly content board and calendar
- Work closely with the Marketing Department to conceptualize, produce and publish engaging content across all social media platforms
- Coordinate with Marketing Director and Assistant Marketing Director to make sure all new media and imagery is in line with Lone Star National Bank’s brand integrity and vision
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media production, and continually evaluate and optimize our production processes
- Ensure all online efforts and messaging are consistent with the values, overall story, and voice for our target audience
- Maintain our catalogue of existing videos and photos as instructed by Marketing Director
- Maintains current knowledge of internal risk controls and loss prevention, including reporting of suspicious or unusual customer activity per Bank policy, and, if supervisor, ensures adherence by the respective department personnel
- Maintains current knowledge and complies with all federal and state laws and regulations and all established Bank policies and procedures, including internal audit controls related to department operations, and, if supervisor, ensures adherence by the respective department personnel
- Maintains current knowledge of all rules, regulations, and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AML, and, if supervisor, ensures adherence by the respective department personnel

- An accredited qualification in videography or a related discipline
- Minimum of two years of experience as a videographer in a production environment
- Excellent practical and technical skills including computer literacy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and copywriting
- Excellent team player
- Good communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility with working hours is essential and relative fitness and stamina to work long hours
- Proficiency with production equipment
- Strong familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is desired
ORGANIZATION
- This position reports to the Marketing Director
- This position does not oversee any positions
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
All employees are required to attend scheduled mandatory trainings and complete online regulatory compliance training courses applicable to their specific job function. In all situations, employees must ensure that their actions fully comply with all federal banking laws and regulations, including internal bank policies and procedures. Failure to adhere to these requirements will be grounds for disciplinary action, including probation and possible termination.
