What are the responsibilities and job description for the Towing Dispatcher position at Lone Star Repair Service?
Lone Star is looking for a Dispatcher/Service Coordinator to dispatch tow trucks, battery vehicles, and road services while using a computer-aided GPS dispatch system.
A successful dispatcher must be able to take calls from AAA, emergency and roadside services, while monitoring the progress of each driver and staying in touch via phone and two-way radio.
Candidate must be reliable and efficient. Good Communication skills are a must.
Daytime and nighttime positions are available immediately.
Experience in an Office Setting or Repair Service Center is a plus
Job Duties Include but are not limited to:
Answering Multi line Phone System, multitasking
Dispatching Drivers at an average of 75 calls per day, staying in touch via radio and phone, and monitoring each driver's progress
Typing work orders into towing dispatch portal
Invoicing Cash Customers
Must be well-organized and able to work under pressure
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:

- Weekend availability

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Towing Dispatch: 2 years (Preferred)
- Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
