Lonestar Builders is a commercial real estate development and construction company specializing in car washes and multifamily housing throughout Utah, Colorado, California, Arizona & Texas.
The Role:
We are looking for a talented estimator to be able to read plans and put together full estimates for construction projects. One that understands the construction process and can be proficient in getting bids and bidding self performed work.
What we’re looking for:
Basic Qualifications:
- 3 years of estimating experience. Construction industry experience preferred
- Experience creating processes and implements procedures
- Strong organization, prioritization & data entry skills
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, Word and other Project Management Software
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Negotiation skills
- Associates or bachelors degree from an accredited university
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Manage the day to day relationships with all vendors and suppliers
- Negotiate prices and put together budgets for projects
- Break down construction drawings and be able to quantify all items needed
- Material Take offs for all scopes in the construction process
- Contract all subs and negotiate scope and pricing
- Be proficient in excel and excellent math skills

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
