We also offer in-house plating and coating services for corrosion prevention; including zinc electroplating and Fluoropolymer coating systems. Combined, LoneStar Fasteners hold over 300 years of expertise in sales, manufacturing and coating experience, covering all aspects of the manufacturing and distribution of fasteners for the Energy, Power, OEM, Military, Aerospace, Engineering and Construction Industries.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

LoneStar Fasteners is looking for the right, qualified individuals to join our team!! The Ship Office Clerk is responsible for performing tasks involved in the preparation of the distributing of material focused on generate Pack slips, MTR’s and COC’s. This position works directly with the sales team, logistics providers, and the customer to coordinate and schedule shipment to the destination.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures including Health, Safety and Quality Assurance policies.
  • Create approval to ship (ATS) forms and pack slips for international and transfer orders
  • Downloads information and approval to ship (ATS) forms into designated ERP system
  • Works directly with customers, carriers, and third party logistic companies to process orders and ensure proper documentation is in place.
  • Updates the shipping information into designated ERP system; maintains thorough knowledge of the computer programs required to perform this function.
  • Generates all pack slips for shipment; ensures MTR’s and COC’s are attached to all required sales orders.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of product function to the extent of recognizing quality needs of each product packed for shipment.
  • Ensuring packages are 100% on time and 100% accurate for customer shipments
  • Perform other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in logistics coordination for shipping or receiving or similar admin work.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to multitask and work in a team environment
  • Able to read, understand, interpret and follow detailed work instructions and manufacturing specifications.
  • Ability to interpret packing slips and enter the correct information
  • Ability to adjust to changes without compromising Quality or Performance
  • Familiarity with proper packaging methods and able to interpret visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements
  • Ability to lift objects up to 70lbs
  • Entry level computer skills to include MS Outlook and Excel; experience with Epicor system preferable

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Employee is regularly required sit for long periods; stand; talk and hear both in person and by telephone; and use hands to operate, finger, handle or feel office equipment; and reach with hands and arms.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
  • The work is both physically and mentally demanding.
  • This employee is expected to be on their feet on occasion.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • The employee frequently is required to stand and walk.
  • The employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Specific sensory abilities required by this job include sight, smell, and hearing

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Work is primarily conducted in an office setting within a manufacturing environment with multi step process production runs on different machines. High value highly customized components, and high precision manufacturing for critical service applications
  • Noise Level: Moderately quiet to High

Salary : $30,700 - $38,800
