Video Coordinator-Men’s Basketball
The position will assist the head coach and the assistant coaches in all areas related to video production and management for the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball program. The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties and responsibilities:
- Assist the head coach and the assistant coaches in the administrative and operations functions related to the scheduling, planning and preparation for all team meetings, practice sessions and competition events;
- Manage all video-related activities for the Men’s Basketball program, including the coordination, management, and video analysis of practice, opponents, and game film for study, development and scouting purposes;
- Coordinate taping of games via satellite, internet, television, and other social media outlets and administer each area of film exchange program with opponents.
- Work closely with head coach, assistant coaches and other men’s basketball program operations staff in the day to day business operations of the men’s basketball program; and
- Participate in other program related duties as assigned by the head coach.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Two (2) years of collegiate men’s basketball program operations experience.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to effectively and appropriately manage video operations functions.
- Specialized knowledge of video software and sports video editing programs (i.e. XOS, DragonFly, Synergy) and working knowledge of satellite television delivery systems.
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations and a record of commitment to NCAA compliance.
