As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) you will assist the people we support to achieve their goals based on their individual preferences and abilities at home, work and in the community.
- Ensure that individuals supported are treated with respect and dignity
- Interacts in a polite, honest, positive and professional manner
- Supports people in activities of their own choosing at home and in the community
- Assists individuals to develop a positive self-image; encourage independence with adult day living skills providing assistance whenever needed
Founded in 1978, Looking Upwards is a private, nonprofit agency offering a wide array of services to adults with developmental disabilities and children and youth with special healthcare needs. Our programs have one overall goal, to support people in leading rich and satisfying lives. To reach that goal, we listen, we partner with individuals and family members to develop a personalized plan. Requirements
- 19 years of age
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid driver's license
- Must clear a Criminal Background check
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
