Lornamead is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team!
Lornamead, Inc. manufactures and supplies hair care, skin care, oral care, and bath products in America. The company offers toothpastes, teeth whitening products and oral analgesics for drug chains and national food retailers. The company is headquartered in New York, with a manufacturing facility in Tonawanda, New York. Lornamead is a US division of Meiyume, a global beauty company.
YOUR CHALLENGE
- Effectively lead and ensure the development and success of the Quality Assurance team members.
- Maintain and continuously improve key components of the quality management system in compliance with cGMPs, ISO 22716, ISO 9001 and NSF/ANSI 455-4 and other standards as necessary.
- Accomplish quality assurance objectives by monitoring, reviewing, and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Drive completion and effectiveness of preventive and corrective action requests.
- Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service. Investigate and correct customer issues and complaints relating to quality.
- Perform data/trend analysis and use it to effectively drive continuous improvement. Presenting data at Management Review Meetings
- Execute Annual Product Review (APR)
- Train and motivate employees to ensure that quality standards are met.
- Support the Quality Management Systems (CAPA, Change Control, Deviations, Training, Validations, etc)
- Support batch record review and ensure timely product release per customer requests.
- Support site visits for customers and audits by regulatory agencies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in maintaining quality management systems/quality assurance (ISO, GMPs, etc)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Process oriented mindset with strong drive for continuous improvement
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to analyze data and identify and interpret trends and drive improvements based on data.
- Experience with key quality functions including document control, internal audits, training program, management review, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Relevant work experience required in personal care/cosmetic/ aesthetic OTC / laboratory /regulated GMP production
- Experience with Change Control, and Validation processes
- Proficiency in QAD or ERP system
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
