Job Summary

As a member of LACENTA’s human resources team, you will get the opportunity to gain hands-on experience on HR systems, recruitment, policies/procedures and special projects. You will collaborate with industry professionals and support the Human Resources Department as needed.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Full cycle recruitment process for entry level positions.
- Prepare, process, and review a variety of documents, including applicants / employee files.
- Responsible for Covid-19 contact tracing and tracking including, vaccine statuses and weekly covid-19 testing results.
- Establish and maintain cooperative work relationships with those contacted during the course of work operations.
- Point of contact for staffing agency networks to fill needs with urgent job vacancies.
- Answers frequently asked questions for applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes.
- Be able to coordinate and refer more complex questions to appropriate senior level HR staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are reflective of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- 4 year degree preferred, but not required
- 1 - 2 Years HR Clerical experience preferred
- Experience with HRIS (Paylocity) preferred, Microsoft Office applications required, Google Workspace knowledge preferred
- 1 - 2 years recruitment or Application screening experience required
- Sounds knowledge of labor regulations
Physical Demands

- Sit for long periods at a time. Stand for long periods of time.
- Use hands and fingers in repetitive motions, daily.
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 10 lbs. periodically.
- Travel to clinic locations as well as other physician and hospital locations within the community.
- Reliable transportation required.
