The Service Technician Assistant provides support to the Service Technician. We provide training for this position. No experience needed!
A pool service technician provides general maintenance and repair for facilities and equipment on and surrounding a swimming pool which may include electrical, chemical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and cleaning services.
Duties for the assistant would include:
- Learning to maintain and perform minor repairs on pool equipment.
- Learning to test, troubleshoots, and repair pool filters per required specifications.
- Learning to make minor fixture adjustments and repairs around the pool.
- Learning to monitor and operate pool process equipment that includes tanks, filters, heating elements, pumps, and vacuum systems.
- Learning to make needed adjustments to keep system processes, including flows, temperatures, and pressures, within acceptable ranges.
- Learning to operate manual and automatic valves, meters, pumps, and transfer systems that move liquid between tanks and process units.
- Employs standard operating procedures to adjust, maintain, start, and stop production equipment.
- Complies with all company safety and environmental practices.
- Assists with other duties assigned by the supervisor.
- Is aware of safety hazards and applicable safety precautions required in the use of assigned tools and chemicals.
