What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Sales position at LOTTE NEW YORK PALACE?
- Reports directly to Director of Sales & Marketing
- Concentrate efforts in strategy and overseeing all aspects of our sales effort including Group Sales, Specialty Markets, Transient Sales and Catering Sales
- Maintain good working relationship with key clients and travel buyers
- Actively participate as a member of the hotel’s Planning Committee
- Strong analytical skillset including ability to produce necessary reporting and analyze such information to turn data into strategy for these key segments
- Lead and participate in forecasting of revenues across various segments and lines of business
- Participate in sales visits, site inspections and outside sales calls
- Develop new markets and sources of business
- Attend tradeshows/sales trips both locally and beyond
- Participate in daily business review meeting and other hotel meetings as appropriate
- Generate ideas for marketing of product such as packages and promotional offers
- Conduct weekly 1on1 meetings with key sales leaders
- Take up special assignments as assigned by Director of Sales & Marketing
- Maintain effective communication channel with Revenue Team, Reservations Manager and Reservations Team
- Attend and contribute to sales meetings and revenue meeting
- Regular update on competitors and market intelligence
- Regular update on Trade shows
- Assimilate into The LOTTE New York Palace culture through understanding, supporting, and participating in and embracing all elements of our Mission, Vision, and Core Values
- Always looking out for the best interest of the hotel, guests, staff, and ownership
The range for this role is $180,000 to $200,000 per annum. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City, NY. This is the lowest to highest pay scale we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
