What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Louisiana Academy of Performing Arts?
The Louisiana Academy of Performing Arts is currently accepting applications for the position of Administrative Assistant at our Mandeville campus.
This is a full time position (40 hours weekly).
The successful candidate will have:
- Outgoing and upbeat personality with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Passion for organization and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- 1-3 years experience in a customer-facing role (account management, customer service, or sales)
- Able to quickly learn new software and comfortable with Microsoft Office
- Empathy and a unique ability to understand customer needs
- Sales, Hotel, or Restaurant experience is preferred
Hours: 40 hours/wk TU-SAT as follows: TU-WED 1-9 PM, TH 12:30-8:30 PM, FRI 11:30 AM - 7:30 PM, SAT 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
