What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recreation Therapist / CMA (DHH Certified Medication Attendant) position at Louisiana Community Care?
We are seeking a Recreation Therapist / CMA to become a part of our team! You will coordinate and arrange transportation for community recreational events and outings.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and arrange transportation for community recreational events, outings and church weekly.
- Performs medication passes at all LCC locations upon request.
- Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Louisiana Driver's License for 3-year period.
- Must be able to comprehend and express strong organizational and written word skills.
- Must possess typing skills/ computer knowledge.
- Must have a CMA (DHH Certified Medication Attendant) certificate.
- Displaying professionalism at all times
- Previous experience working with people with disabilities or other related fields.
