What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapist position at Love Joy Adult Day Health Care Center?
Love Joy Adult Day Health Care is located in Rancho Cordova, CA. Our participants are adults ages, 18 and up with various cognitive, physical, or psychological challenges. We provide Maintenance Nursing care, Occupational/Physical/Speech Therapy, Activities, and Social Services. We are a day program that provides services Monday – Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm. Our participants and staff are a joy to work with. We love to have fun together as we help each other learn and grow.
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our team. This is a contract position that requires approximately 16-20 hours per week. We do not track or bill by productivity. There is no heavy lifting or daily patient care. The schedule is completely flexible within the days/times of Monday - Friday, 8:00-3:00pm.

Essential Functions:
- Initial assessments and reassessments of adult participants with physical/cognitive impairments
- Program planning for maintenance therapy
- Education of participants and their families
- Education of Therapy Aides and other staff
- Documentation in Word and EMR - Turbo TAR
