We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Bar Manager to join our team and assist in the smooth operations of our western saloon, White Elephant. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. The Assistant Bar Manager plays a key role in supporting the General Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our bar, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness, and optimizing profitability. The perfect candidate’s leadership skills and commitment to quality will contribute to our goal of maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and achieving operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

-          Assist in training and supervising bar staff. Ensure team members adhere to company policies and provide exceptional customer service. 
-          Help oversee daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and inventory management. 
-          Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and resolve any customer complaints or issues promptly.
-          Monitor inventory levels and oversee ordering and stocking of supplies, beverages, and equipment. 
-          Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area. Uphold quality and safety standards in accordance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
-          Collaborate with the General Manager on developing and updating drink menus, specials, and promotions to attract and retain customers. 

Requirements:

-          Minimum 4 years of proven experience in a restaurant or bar establishment. 
-          Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team.
-          Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with customers and staff. 
-          Solid understanding of beverage management, including inventory control and cost management. 
-          Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. 
-          Food Managers or Serve Safe Managers and TABC Certifications are required.
-          Must have the ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time and lift or carry up to 50lbs.
