Responsibilities
- Responsible for counseling patients on medication usage in addition to compounding and dispensing medication orders under the supervision of a registered pharmacist
- Assist the pharmacists in various professional and technical activities associated with the distribution of medications, the maintenance of drug inventory, patient records and patient financial records
- Adhere to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Completion of first professional year within an accredited college of pharmacy.
- State of NM Pharmacy Intern License within 45 days of hire
Preferred Job Requirements:
- IV Certification or must be obtained within six (6) months from date of hire
