Lovely Leaps – Dance & Pom Instructors (10-Week Contract – Multiple Positions Available) Serving Escondido Public Schools – Fall 2025

Important Dates:

• Training & Kickoff Day: Friday, September 12th

Time: 1-hour training (exact time TBD)
Location: Lovely Leaps Escondido Studio Instructors will receive:

• Lovely Leaps T-shirts
• Pom Poms
• Bluetooth Speaker
• Instructor Bag
• Paid Training Orientation
• Program Start Date: Monday, September 15th, 2025

Contract Ends: Wednesday, November 19th, 2025
This is a fixed-term contract; full commitment for the duration is required.

Weekly Teaching Schedule:

• Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
• Time: 1:30 PM – 3:50 PM
• Location: Begin each day at Lovely Leaps Escondido at 1:30 PM for check-in, then travel to your assigned school.

Please note: This schedule includes a total of 37 sessions across the 10-week contract period.

Compensation:

• All instructors will be paid $30/hour

About Lovely Leaps: Lovely Leaps is a fast-growing dance enrichment company serving over 60 schools and more than 1,400 students weekly. We specialize in bringing dance and movement to children at our studio locations, schools, and in-home sessions. Our mission is to cultivate a love of dance from an early age while emphasizing joy, creativity, and positive self-expression.

Dance & Pom Instructor Role

Responsibilities:

• Lead engaging dance & pom classes, including teaching routines and preparing for a showcase performance
• Follow age-appropriate lesson plans provided by Lovely Leaps
• Encourage teamwork, confidence, and creativity in every class
• Utilize music, props, and movement to support learning
• Maintain professional communication with team and school staff
• Take attendance and record roster daily

Ideal Candidate:

• Loves working with kids
• Experience teaching or working with children
• Knowledge of ballet, jazz, hip hop, or POM is a plus; prior cheer experience is highly encouraged as we are providing Pom classes
• Dependable, professional, and enthusiastic
• Reliable transportation is required for daily travel to school sites
• Have a clean Background (background check will be requested)

Bonus but Not Required:

• 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units
• Experience with students with special needs
• Spanish-speaking abilities
• Vaccination records (preferred by some partner sites)
