Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Clerk

Lovering Auto Group, NH's largest Volvo dealer, is looking for a full-time Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in our Nashua location. Hours are Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position will have many different responsibilities as part of the accounting department for the Lovering Auto Group. The  Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Clerk will be Responsible for:

• Enter invoices, matching purchase order, receipts and invoice, reconcile differences and ensure accuracy
• Reconcile statements and expedite payments
• Through use of AP journals and schedules, post, adjust and reconcile internal accounts and balances to support accounting records
• Understand and maintain vendor information, including payment terms, tax information, remittance information and other miscellaneous data
• Develop and maintain working relationships with vendors
• Follow up on past due accounts and returned checks
• Prepares customer refunds for overpayments/refunds
• Generates and print AR monthly statements
• Prepares and reconciles daily deposits; verifying general ledger balances including cash clearing accounts
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Experience in the automotive business is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Detail oriented
• Motivated Self-starter
• Ability to Multi-task -  you will often have many things in the air at once
