Lowcountry Therapy is a family-oriented outpatient pediatric clinic with locations in both Bluffton and Port Royal, SC. Our friendly, dedicated, and supportive staff creates a positive, flexible, and team-based work environment.
We are looking for a dynamic, logical, independent worker, team-player, who will represent our company and lead the front desk operations. The pay range for this position is $18 - $21 per hour.
An average day for a Scheduling Coordinator:
- Greeting patients and families and exchanging information in a warm and professional manner.
- Multi-tasking to answer phones, address in-person patients, and use the computer simultaneously.
- Providing services to customers promptly.
- Ensuring our patients’ right to privacy.
- Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
- While an emphasis is placed on scheduling, each Scheduling Coordinator owns and is responsible for important additional projects.
- Interacting with our Electronic Medical Records system and database fluently.
- Keeping work area, lobby, breakroom, and bathrooms neat.

Requirements
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a must
- HS diploma or G.E.D. required
- Minimum 3 years in an administrative role
- Ability to work evenings until 7:00 PM
- Previous scheduling experience in a medical environment preferred
- Medical office and translation experience is strongly preferred
- Must be efficient in Excel and Google Drive
- Excellent communication and personal relationship skills
- A high standard of quality and attention to details
- Impeccable organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills
- The drive to take initiative and own your tasks from start to finish
- Able to work with diverse populations (patient, staff) under difficult and stressful situations. Supports the team approach.
- Performs other job duties and responsibilities as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: minimum HS diploma
Experience: Minimum 3 years in an administrative role, medical experience preferred
Other Qualifications: Must be efficient in Excel, knowledge of Google Drive is a plus.
