Lower Lights Christian Health Center (LLCHC) transforms the overall health of Central Ohio, serving one individual at a time. We are focused on whole-person wellness, available to ALL in Central Ohio who need it, regardless of ability to pay! In 2021, we served over 12,000 patients - with approximately 28% being uninsured - and totaled 50,000 medical encounters!
Operating out of seven locations, we offer medical care (primary care, dental, vision, OB/GYN, telehealth), behavioral health care, 340B pharmacy, nutritional assistance programs, and more. Working hours are Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday morning coverage.
JOB SUMMARY
Our Bilingual Front Office Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients once they enter the building. This position assists with smooth clinic operations and works in a professional capacity to keep patients informed and happy with their experience.
DUTIES
- Demonstrates the ability to efficiently function in the business office
- Possesses the skills necessary to organize and process daily workload
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with Medical staff, patients, and general public verbally, and in documentation
- Demonstrates knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions
- Possesses interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships with others and function independently
- Demonstrates the ability to keep the business office clean, organized, and a safe environment for all
- Participates in programs and other opportunities and activities, which contribute to continued growth

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years' work experience in-person with customers / clients / patients
- Physical ability necessary for sitting, bending, walking, stretching, standing and occasional lifting
- Ability to travel to multiple Lower Lights locations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Computer / Electronic Medical Record experience(Epic/NextGen)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and professional office practice and procedures
- One to three years experience in a physician's office/clinical setting
