Job Description:

Lower is looking for a Mortgage Jr. Licensing Analyst that will be responsible for ensuring that the company's operations comply with state and federal licensing regulations. They will assist in providing guidance on licensing of individual loan originators and/or branches. This includes the initial licensure, updates, changes, and renewals for branches and/or individuals licenses. Assist with managing individual licenses as well as the additional NMLS & State regulatory compliance requirements (MCRs, Annual Financial Reports, Surety Bond Requirements, Etc.) Communicate with branch managers as well as HR in the onboarding process for all new Loan Officers. Strong attention to detail, understanding of regulatory frameworks, and excellent organizational skills are essential for this role. This is an entry-level role.

What you'll do:

• Assist with NMLS licensing of the company, branches, and mortgage loan originators.
• Create company relationships and submit MU1, MU3 and MU4 filings.
• Monitor Click Up and track weekly new hires.
• Supervise daily license approvals and update Encompass accordingly.
• Complete all NMLS MLO termination and generate MLO terminated report as needed.
• Administrator for Ellie Mae Learns Academy and Learn Mortgage
• Support compliance department with training reports as needed.
• Monitor pending licenses and collaborate with the licensing director to provide any additional requirements for company and branch license approval.
• Work with new/existing branch managers for any additional licensing needs including fingerprint cards, MLO bond coverage, background checks, PE courses, MU3 and/or MU4 filings.
• Perform/ Support all aspects of licensing in absence of the licensing director.
• Contact state regulators with any licensing related questions/concerns.
• Assist with loan file transfers and NMLS Mavent fails when needed.
• Assist Compliance department with Power TPO applications
• Perform monthly social media review through AcuClix and email affected MLOs and monthly reports to branch managers.

• 2 years of college in related field or equivalent experience
• Experience working with sales professionals is a plus, but not required

Where you work:

• The individual will need to reside in the Columbia or Rockville, MD area for in-person training.
