The Lower Pioneer Valley Educational Collaborative has an opening for a Classroom Assistant.
We are are growing and looking for a Classroom Assistant for our Special Education Program.
This position is a full-time, school-year position.
General Information:
To perform instructional and non-teaching duties assigned by and under the direction of the classroom teacher.
Duties may include but are not limited to: helping students with assignment.
Supervising individuals and groups.
Assisting on field trips.
Assisting with preparing and duplicating educational materials and with attendance and other record-keeping.
Assisting in managing behavior problems including implementation of behavior intervention plans; or other duties to assist in maintaining the classroom.
