Job Overview:
This role will provide operational support for the Trading Operations department within the Service, Trading and Operations (STO) business unit of LPL. The Trading Operations Analyst will primarily be responsible for processing Equity trade corrections in a timely and accurate manner. This includes trade reporting, processing, reconciliation and control activities related to equity and option trade corrections. In addition, the Trading Operations department supports numerous other operational processes (reconciliation, interdepartmental trade requests, etc.) for Equity and Options.
Responsibilities:
Process a high volume of Equity trade corrections and other request received in the Equity trading mailbox in a timely and accurate manner on a daily basis
Perform daily reconciliation for Equity corrections utilizing BETA and Excel VBA macros
Support LPL’s volume contingency plan (VCP) by training and supporting either Equity Trading or Enhanced Trading in a VCP capacity

Minimum Experience Required:
1-3 years of previous financial services experience
Ability to handle time sensitive, detail oriented processes
Software/Systems Skills Preferred: MS Office, Advanced Excel and VBA macros
Preferences:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience with BETA, ClientWorks, ServiceWorks,
Series 7 and or 57 preferred
