What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Health Nurse position at LPR International?
LPR International is seeking a Community Health Nurse to provide support for a client based in Cheverly, MD. This is a long-term, temporary assignment with an immediate start through June 30, 2025.
Responsibilities:
- The incumbent will provide nursing care to individuals with complex health needs utilizing professional nursing knowledge, experience and judgment.
- The incumbent will demonstrate knowledge of TB disease, screen clients for TB, dispense TB medications, complete contact investigation, go out to the community for DOT, follow physician orders for the treatment of TB clients, and assigned case management.
Qualifications:
- The incumbent must have and maintain an active and unrestricted Registered Nurse License issued by the Maryland Board of Nursing or compact state as appropriate.
