Job Description
LS Technologies, LLC is seeking an Electronics Technician Maintenance III professional to support LST's government customer. The incumbent will be qualified to perform complex diagnosis, repairs and modifications to aviation ground electronics systems and various other equipment.
Responsibilities
- Performs required periodic maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, install, and test equipment as required.
- Setup, maintain, and store airfield systems or deep-field camp systems that support aviation operations.
- Perform light construction and electrical installation at sites to support infrastructure upgrades.
- Perform site surveys and develop installation plans.
- Must be okay with travel.
Requirements
- Must have ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE.
- Minimum of four (4) years practical experience, to include: electronics repair, maintenance and checkout.
- Minimum of one (1) year practical experience in electronics installation.
- Minimum of two (2) years technical experience in the field of Air Traffic Control (ATC) equipment and systems including aviation ground navigation systems, meteorology systems, or air traffic control communication systems (may be gained concurrently).
- Experience with communication systems (experience may be concurrent).
- Formal electronics training in Installations Tasks, Soldering, Cable Dressing, Cable Tray, Conduit, and making/repairing Connectors.
Education
- Associates Degree or related experience.
- Formal electronics training from an accredited institution; four (4) year electronics apprentice program a plus.
Travel
- 0 - 50%
