Job Title: AI Engineer

Work Location: Bellevue, WA

Job Description:

Model Development & Deployment

• Lead the end-to-end design, training, and deployment of machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI models (e.g., LLMs, transformers, embeddings) to address core business problems.
• Build scalable solutions for time series forecasting, classification, regression, recommendation systems, and NLP applications.
• Ensure models are explainable, reproducible, and compliant with governance standards (e.g., model cards, fairness audits).

• Business Collaboration

• Partner with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing, operations) to identify and scope high-impact opportunities where data science and AI can drive measurable business outcomes.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable analytical initiatives with clearly defined success metrics and timelines.

• Experimentation & Causal Inference

• Design and analyze A/B tests, quasi-experiments, and longitudinal studies to assess the impact of product changes and campaigns.
• Implement causal inference techniques such as propensity scoring, double machine learning, difference-in-differences, and uplift modelling to estimate treatment effects and incremental gains.

• Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Provide hands-on mentorship to junior data scientists and analysts, guiding them on project delivery, modelling best practices, code quality, and experimentation.
