What are the responsibilities and job description for the Talent Aquisition - Compliance position at LTIMindtree?
Goal: To ensure LTIM’s Talent Acquisition processes in the US adhere to local and international laws, regulations, internal and (deployed) client policies. This role will develop and implement compliance programs, monitor and audit recruitment processes, train our teams on relevant issues, and manage risk associated with Talent Acquisition (especially Delivery/Technical talent). This role is an individual contributor role and collaborates with legal, compliance, Risk, HR, and other governing departments to maintain ethical hiring standards and promote best practices in global hiring.
Location: North-East US (preferably)
Essential Functions
- Develop and implement US talent acquisition compliance programs, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to local and international laws and regulations.
- Monitor and audit recruitment processes and practices to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
- Create and maintain dashboards to track key audit and compliance issues
- Collaborate with legal, HR, and other departments to ensure alignment of recruitment practices with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance to talent acquisition teams on compliance-related topics, including anti-discrimination laws, data privacy including GDPR, CCPA, and ethical hiring practices.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of compliance policies to reflect changes in laws and regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies, with a strong emphasis on understanding regulatory requirements, ethical considerations, and risk management.
- Lead the selection, implementation, and continuous monitoring of AI systems to ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards and collaborate with cross-functional teams to audit and mitigate AI-related risks.
- Lead investigations into compliance violations and implement corrective actions, as necessary.
- Develop and maintain metrics and reporting systems to track compliance performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on global talent acquisition compliance and governance, providing advice and support to senior leadership.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition compliance and governance to continually enhance the organization's compliance framework.
- Provide advisory services on compliance-related topics, including process design and control
Basic Qualifications
- 12 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD)
Of which:
- 8 years in progressively responsible roles focused on HR, Compliance, audit, or risk management, in a financial services environment
- Last 2 years in Talent Acquisition or Talent Acquisition Compliance role
- Experience in driving results in a public multinational corporation
