Job Description:
We are looking for team members that enjoy and thrive in a fast paced, high energy environment. Luby's is known for it's made from scratch menu. There's nothing we can't make! Working at Luby's as a Cook or in Food Production, you will aquire great culinary skills. Luby's offer positions as a Range Cook, Grill Cook, Fry Cook, Butcher, Salad and Vegetable Prep and Pastry Prep. As a Cook or Food Production you will receive and stock inventory, prepare, cook and assemble orders, keep the kitchen clean and organized, and maintain food safety and quality standards by following standard operating procedures. At Luby's we offer growth and career opportunities for positions such as Certified Trainer, Shift Leader and Management.

Requirements:
- Previous experience is preferred, but is not required - we will train you!
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to read and follow recipes to maintain consistency and high quality menu items.
- Must have good organizational skills
- Open to varied work schedules and hours depending on the restaurant’s needs
- Must be able to use to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to stand for several hours and walk for long periods of time
- Must be a team player
- Will need to be certified on specific equipment such as a Band Saw, Buffalo Chopper, Meat Tenderizer, Mixer and Potato Peeler. (this will take place after hiring)
