What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registration Clerk position at Lucas County Health Center?
Our registration clerk serves as the first point of contact for our patients and is responsible for the accurate registration of patients receiving care at Lucas County Health Center. This includes verifying demographic and insurance information along with obtaining all required signatures. Our registration clerks are also responsible for reviewing, preparing, and maintaining various reports and records
Individuals interested in this position should have the desire to create a welcoming environment and must be able to greet and assist patients and visitors as needed.
Days & Shifts:
- Monday - Friday from 9:30 AM - 6 PM
- Holiday rotation: 2 holidays per year, rotating
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Computer knowledge required
- Mandatory abuse reporter certification (required within 6 months of hire)
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well
- Experience in a healthcare setting helpful
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
