What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Services Specialist position at Lucas County?
Under general direction from the Workforce Manager, works with customers seeking Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) training contracts to enhance their ability to obtain employment in an in-demand occupation that leads to self-sufficiency. This position identifies the employment and training needs of customers through assessment tools, maintains documentation of requests for WIOA training services and Individual Training Accounts (ITAs), and monitors the progress toward completion of customers awarded ITAs. This position may provide basic assistance in the areas of research and analysis; program procedures and policy development and advocacy related to workforce development initiatives of the Department.
