Shipping Clerk

Lucifer Lighting is looking for a Shipping Clerk! Job Duties:

• Pull parts for shipments as required.
• Package product as required.
• Obtain weight and dimensions of product being shipped.
• Use Infor to process shipments.
• Use carrier websites to arrange for pickup and/or delivery of product.
• Maintain accurate inventory.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of computers and/or the ability to grasp computer proficiency quickly.
• Knowledge of packaging standards and warehouse equipment.
• Ability to count parts and record data accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Customer service focused.
• Willingness to take on new responsibilities and develop new skills.
• Ability to work within tight timeframes and deadlines which, in turn, necessitates both a sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize duties based on immediate needs.
• Ability to work in a changing environment that is dynamic and has priorities that change often and quickly.
• Ability to follow processes and safety guidelines accurately
• Excel in a fast-paced work environment.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• One or more years in a warehouse environment in shipping, receiving or other major warehouse functions
• Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift experience
• UPS WorldShip, FedEx and LTL software experience

Physical Requirements:

• Manual dexterity and sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.
• Frequent climbing, bending, stooping, reaching, grasping and crouching.
• Visual acuity to read printed and electronic documents or equipment screens.
• Lifting and/or exerting of force up to 50 pounds frequently and team lifting heavier items.
• Frequent pushing and pulling with a manual pallet jack or wheeled cart.
