What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brand Marketing Manager (Lifestyle, Design & Storytelling Focus) position at Lucky Lab Coffee Company?
Brand Marketing Manager
Location: Austin, TX (in-person role preferred)
Salary Range: $60,000–$70,000 (depending on experience & skillset)
Lucky Lab Coffee Co. is a growing lifestyle coffee brand rooted in Southern hospitality, good coffee, and dog love. With locations in Austin and the surrounding area, we’re not just serving lattes—we’re building a brand that people feel connected to.
We’re looking for a Brand Marketing Manager who deeply understands who we are, where we’re going, and how to bring it all to life across every guest touchpoint—from packaging and print to social and digital campaigns.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and wants to build something meaningful. You’ll report directly to the Director of Operations and collaborate with creatives, leadership, and store teams to ensure every visual and story reflects the Lucky Lab experience.
- Own and protect the Lucky Lab brand across all channels and creative outputs
- Lead the day-to-day work of the marketing team (currently small but growing)
- Create and direct visual content across print, packaging, apparel, signage, digital ads, and more
- Concept and launch brand campaigns and promotions with strong storytelling and design
- Maintain and evolve our brand style guide to ensure consistency
- Measure and analyze campaign performance with clear insights and next steps
- Stay on top of industry trends—especially those in coffee, college culture, and dog-forward lifestyles
- Develop the department, including foundation, process, and calendars
- 5 years of brand or creative marketing experience (agency or in-house)
- A portfolio that shows smart, beautiful design with a focus on storytelling
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); bonus if you dabble in short-form video or animation
- Natural project manager who can juggle timelines and competing priorities with strong organizational skills
- Strong written and visual communication skills—you know how to sell an idea
- Someone who brings ideas and execution
- A true brand thinker—someone who gets what makes Lucky Lab special and wants to protect and grow it
- You’ve helped build or reimagine a brand from the ground up
- You’ve worked in hospitality, lifestyle, or mission-driven consumer brands
- You have a dog. Or at least really love them.
This role is hands-on, full of variety, and central to how our brand shows up in the world. You’ll have the autonomy to lead creative work, the trust to do it well, and the chance to grow with a brand that’s just getting started.
