What are the responsibilities and job description for the C-Store Cashier position at Lueken's Food Stores, Inc.?
· Customer Service- Contribute to the customer centric work environment by providing prompt and kind service to those in the store and at your till.
Availability: Variable Attendant, 2-3 days/week, closing shifts (1pm-9pm)
Wage: $15-$18/hour
Responsibilities
· Cash Handling and Till Management– Must be able to run the POS; count back change to customers; count down till and safe; and keep your till accurate throughout the duration of your shift.
· Practical Skills– It is imperative to operations that you learn multiple skills such as: how to count in , count out, and run lottery reports; How to work with the gas terminal; knowledge of all emergency procedures and protocols; and knowledge of how to properly clean, close and lock down the store at the end of the night.
· Physical Requirements– Employees must be able to stand and move around the store for the duration of their shift, as well as bend, twist, and lift (up to 50 ibs) as needed throughout the course of their shift.
· Compliance– All employees must be aware of and uphold all laws, rules, and regulations regarding age restricted products (tobacco, lottery, alcohol, etc.). And follow proper Age verification procedures
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
