Schedule: Thursday-Sunday 6am-2:30pm
We are looking for a qualified candidate to complete our Warehouse Team! Experience is welcome, but not needed!
As a Direct Store Delivery (DSD)Clerk you will assist in the coordination and receiving of deliveries, as well as communicating with staff and vendors to ensure accurate costs on invoices.
Physical Requirements:
· Able to lift 50-70lbs, especially for individual items or cases while unlading a truck
· Able to lift below the knees and above the shoulders
· Able to twist and reach 50 times a day, scanning and moving warehouse items
· Able to move quickly and safely from one end of the store to the other
Knowledge/Skills:
· Great customer service skills and clear communication.
· Advanced math for the purpose of price checking and tracking materials
· Advanced reading and computer skills for the purpose of entering items, creating batches, and conferring with tech support
· Electronic jack, and riding jack training
· Forklift training
Responsibilities:
A Lueken’s Foods Inc. direct store delivery coordinator (DSD) on a regular basis:
- Greets and helps customers
- Answers any and all customer questions or concerns to the best of their knowledge. Defers questions to proper personnel when a resolution cannot be reached.
- Process initial invoices:
- Scans vendors in
- Makes a receiver
- Determines piece count of delivered product and matches it to the invoice
- Corrects or tracks discrepancies between invoicing and pricing
- Verifies timing of orders and shipments
- Sends invoices to the accounting department for payment
- Copies and distributes invoices to department managers
- Answers calls from delivery personnel, coordinates drop off times and directs trucks
- Unlocks overhead doors
- Assists in unloading merchandise from trucks
- Collects deal sheets from vendors or managers, enters allowances into BRDATA
- Coordinates product placement under department manager’s directives
- Enters products into software:
- Maintains and updates deals, pricing, count
- Puts items in file
- Double checks cost and pricing
- Revamps pricing as necessary for volatile items
- Coordinates waste removal with vendors and departments:
- Ensures vendors do not take up store allotted dumpster space
- Coordinates vendor takeaways of their waste
- Creates and maintains vendor numbers
- Creates, makes, and hangs tags and signs for departments
- Prints and hangs signs for vendors
- Makes calls for tech support
- Fixes data received from verifiers, confirms data with managers
- Manages UPS, FEDX, and Speedy deliveries
- Collects credits due as necessary
- Reviews billing statements for bookkeeping as requested
- Imports and exports excel files.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
