Lum's GMC is hiring a skilled Service Technician in McMinnville, Oregon with the ability to diagnose and repair all areas of vehicles.

Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.
- Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Schedule: Day shift, includes Saturdays.
Pay: $25-$50 per hour, depending on experience. Lum's will consider paying relocation and initial travel expenses (during relocation period) for the right candidate.
Qualifications
- 3 years of Service Technician experience required
- ASE or GM Certification a plus
- A-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
- Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies
- Basic computer skills
- Ambitious, hardworking presence in a team environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Positive, friendly, empathetic attitude, along with a customer service mentality
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to collaborate respectfully and effectively
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Must provide your own tools
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Technician Experience: 3 years (Preferred)
