Landscape Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and care. This role involves various tasks related to landscaping, lawn care, and general maintenance of outdoor spaces, ensuring they remain beautiful and functional.

Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Assist with planting, watering, and caring for trees, shrubs, and flowers.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
• Conduct irrigation system installations and maintenance to ensure proper water distribution.
• Participate in hardscape projects including the installation of patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Provide snow plowing services during winter months as needed.
• Maintain equipment such as excavators and other machinery used in landscaping projects.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various landscaping equipment.
• Experience in lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles related to plant care and gardening practices.
• Familiarity with snow plowing techniques and tree care practices including trimming and pruning.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 – 45 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
