About the Position
We are seeking experienced and successful Quality Managers who will play a pivotal role in shaping quality management systems (QMS) for our design processes. You'll lead, manage, and implement key quality strategies, ensuring every aspect of our projects meets the highest standards. This posting is for future long term, full-time, onsite positions located in Norwalk, CA.
Responsibilities
- Lead QMS Development: Design, manage, and maintain quality management systems for a range of projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Ensure Compliance: Identify, track, and resolve non-compliance issues while implementing effective corrective actions.
- Conduct Audits: Lead comprehensive audits to monitor program quality, including design, procurement, and construction activities.
- Engage with Leadership: Collaborate with senior leadership to enhance ISO 9000 processes, providing insights and recommendations for quality improvements.
- Training and Development: Support quality systems by developing and delivering ISO 9001 training across teams.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate quality records and reports, ensuring compliance with project standards and company expectations.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives like Lessons Learned and RCA processes to continuously enhance project quality.
- Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align efforts and drive project success.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or equivalent combination of education/experience.
- 5 years of experience within quality management.
- Expertise in ISO 9000, ASTM, ASME, ANSI standards, and experience leading quality initiatives.
- Proven experience coordinating with a project management team and providing appropriate levels of support, coaching and influence.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Work, Excel, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- 10 years of direct experience in quality management, particularly in transportation infrastructure (highway, bridge, rail, or roadway projects).
- ASQ certification (CQE, CQM, CSQE, CQA-HACCP, etc.).
- PMP certification is a strong advantage
Compensation Details
The salary range listed for this role is $95k-125k annually. The final salary offered is based on multiple factors and is thoughtfully aligned with each candidate's level of experience, breadth of skills, total education achieved, certifications/licenses that have been obtained, etc.
