The Lutheran Home is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Level 1 Medication Aide who is also a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our healthcare community. In this role, you will be a key player primarily working in our assisted living as you pass medications and provide comfort and support to our residents. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Administer prescribed medications to residents and maintain medical records.
- Take vital signs or observe patient to detect response to specified types of medications.
- Respond to emergency situations that arise and take appropriate action.
- Answer call lights and assist residents with ADL care as needed.
- Complete documentation accurately, timely, and following facility policies and procedures.
- Assist with serving meals and picking up the dining room after meal service.
- Weigh residents using upright or chair scale.
- Demonstrates appropriate knowledge for safe use of medical equipment (cane, walkers, oxygen).
- Helps keep residents’ rooms clean and supplied.
- Ambulate residents who require minimal assistance.
- Immediately report any abuse, neglect, and/or changes in resident’s conditions or incidents to the nurse.
- Communicates residents' requests or concerns in a timely manner.

- Current Level 1 Medication Aide certification or Certified Medication Tech
- Current Missouri CNA certification
- Minimum age of 18
