What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floor Tech position at LUTHERAN HOMES OF SOUTH CAROLINA, INC.?
The primary purpose of this position is to perform the daily cleaning of ancillary rooms and corridors in accordance with standard procedure of department and facility objectives. Set up and tear down furniture for special functions as required by function calendar. Use of various types of cleaning equipment to care for and maintain the floors of assigned buildings. Must maintain and keep current records of all cleaning supplies and equipment and perform inventory and budget control as requested.
PHYSICAL REQURIEMENTS:
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
- Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move equipment, supplies, etc., in excess of fifty (50) pounds.
- Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents.
