Laundry Assistant

Daily sorts and cleans soiled linens and Resident clothing using the washing equipment, loads the clean linens / clothes into the dryer and then folds and stacks the clean linens and clothes into appropriate groupings to be distributed back to the Residents or storage areas.

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be knowledgeable in general cleaning techniques for clothing and linens and the proper uses of certain cleaning agents.
• Must be mindful at all times of proper techniques to be observed when dealing with soiled clothing and / or linens used by Residents having infectious / contagious conditions.
