Valid NJ Driver’s License, CDL License with passenger endorsementSkill(s):Knowledge of safety requirements pertaining to the transportation industry.Requires individuals who can coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with participants, co-workers, medical staff, and the public.Proficient in identifying problems and recommending resolution.Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to manage transportation scheduling Familiar with the operation of handicapped accessible vehicles.Experience with maintenance and oversight of a fleet of vehicles.Verbal and listening skills; ability to speak in front of large audiencesExperience:Two (2) years of administrative/supervisory experience, in a transportation setting. Five (5) years of experience in the transportation industry. Minimum of 1 year working with the frail and elderlyMedical Clearance: Employees must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact.General ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Center Director, the Transportation Manager provides oversight and supervision of transportation staff across two PACE program locations. This role is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of participant transportation to ensure services are delivered in a timely, safe, and person-centered manner. Key responsibilities include staff supervision, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, vehicle compliance management, trip and delivery scheduling, and ensuring adherence to quality improvement and regulatory standards.LSMNJ is an Equal Opportunity Employer.We have awesome benefits!
