Job Summary
The Primary responsibility of the Post Closer is to perform an intense review of the closing documents after closing. The review includes but is not limited to validating data, loan terms, reviewing 1003, disclosure dates, document signatures, Right to Cancel, Hazard, etc. This position will also work on clearing conditions from the Investors and learning Investor requirements.
General Responsibilities
Reviewing and auditing of loans after funding for accuracy and completeness. The review may include detailed review of the 1003, Disclosure Dates, Document Signatures, Right to Cancel, Calculating Insurance, Calculating Property Taxes, Initial/Final CD, Alta review, etc.
Calling third parties to obtain updated / missing documents and or request corrections
Monitor and follow up on outstanding missing documents, pending corrections and suspense issues.
Update notes in the system accordingly
Qualifications
Minimum of two years of mortgage lending experience
Must have strong analytical and written communication skills
Must be detail oriented, organized and able to work efficiently under pressure
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Must be able to multitask and complete tasks with hard deadlines
Able to work in a fast pace environment
Experience with Loan Origination Systems
