Qualifications
- AAS, Early Childhood Education, CDA credential; or HS Diploma with obtaining a CDA or AA degree within 2 years of hire or placement
- Bilingual Language abilities, English/Spanish required
Responsibilities/Duties
Implement educational activities by providing and maintaining an atmosphere in the classroom that promotes school readiness and developmentally appropriate practices for 3 and 4-year old children. Assist the Head Start Teacher in planning and carrying out educational activities to meet the National Head Start Program Performance Standards and local plan. CLICK HERE FOR THE JOB DESCRIPTION
Location and Hours
Beekman St., full time, 37.5 hrs/wk.
Rate of Pay – Based on Education:
AA Degree – $18.02/hr
CDA – $16.43/hr
HS Diploma/GED – $15.90/hr
For those who possess Bilingual Abilities (Eng/Spanish) – 5% additional pay
