Requirements:

● Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance

● 2-3 years of experience in the healthcare accounting field

● Previous experience working in and knowledge of accounting department structure

Our client is a growing Integrated Health System providing the residents of Nevada a wide range of medical services at its various hospitals and outpatient facilities.

About the Role

This position provides full cycle accounting and ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial information, supporting the overall health of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and support for the accounting department for day to day functions as well as audits.
• Understanding of debit/credits, income statements, accruals, expenses, etc.
• Experience working in large corporate structure.
• Manage general ledger accounts, ensuring the accurate preparation of financial statements.
• Ensure all monthly, quarterly and year end close processes are completed as required.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal policies.
• Conduct account reconciliations to verify accuracy of records
• Work with cross-functional teams to support the organizations financial goals.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2-3 years of experience in the healthcare accounting field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• General Ledger Accounting proficiency
• Previous experience working in and knowledge of corporate accounting department structure
• COVID-19 Vaccination
