About You: We are looking for a Shop Technician who will be responsible for repairing and testing of customers' fire & life safety equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and as an integral team member.
Compensation/Benefits: $17-21/hour depending on qualifications. Responsibilities:
- Follow NFPA and DOT standards
- Repair and test customers' fire & life safety equipment, primarily fire extinguishers
- Delivery and pick up of materials to and from customer sites
- Receive inventory deliveries
- Comply with company and customers' safety programs
- Maintain clean and productive work area
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office
- Strong customer service, communication, and relationship skills
- Must be extremely motivated
- Ability to effectively multi-task and thrive in an exciting work environment
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Self-starter
