- Create and maintain a creative, innovative, and inviting library environment for students and staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage the library collections and circulation systems at both the middle school and high school, with the support of a library clerk.
- Oversee purchasing, cataloging, promoting, circulating, repairing, shelving, inventorying, and weeding of library materials.
- Teach a library/ research skills rotation at the middle school as scheduled.
- Collaborate with teachers to support classroom lessons, research units, and student projects.
- Provide a welcoming and accessible space for students and staff throughout the school day.
- Assist students positively with questions, book selection, printing needs, and minor laptop issues.
- Maintain a strong partnership with the public library to support Interlibrary Loan (ILL) privileges for students and staff.
