Position/Title: Drafter
Department: Design Department
Direct Report: Design Department Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
1.Meeting with Design Department weekly to discuss how to further better that department
2. Draft special blocks or side projects as requested by Design Department Manager
3. Before beginning a project, have Pre‐game Meetings with Design Department Manager on new projects
4. Reach out to clients and request CAD files necessary for that project
5. Design a new EBM system that fits the clients’ needs and the building’s needs
This will be discussed and determined during the Pre‐game Meeting for each particular project
6.Review project’s proposal and scope of work and design project according to quantities bid, type of equipment bid, etc.

7.Responsible for updating Project Coordinator if changes in scope have occurred due to project restrictions or design alterations same day as these discoveries are made.
8.Attend meetings with clients and Design Department Manager as instructed or needed
Responsible for keeping good notes during meeting and scanning notes into electronic file upon return from meeting
9.Perform site visits with Design Department Manager and/or Project Coordinators as instructed/needed to provide technical support with measurements, schematics, or other required information gathering or discovery activities as needed
10. Prepare a projects design package for review by Design Department Manager
Completed design documentation ready for review shall be emailed to Design
Department Manager for review
11.Follow guidelines set forth by Design Department Manager and Upper Management for completing a projects documentation depending on the scope of work for a project
12.Keep good notes throughout design of project and scan notes into electronic file, & keep paper copy of notes in blue job ticket
13.Report to Design Department Manager and Upper Management as to the status of a project as requested
14.Interface with Structural Engineering firm and with internal departments to accomplish task assignments
15.Communicate and coordinate with Engineer of Record for that project to obtain stamped drawings/calculations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
